Gary has had significant success as a manager in large corporations, such as Do It Best and North American Van Lines; however, he prefers the challenges of building small companies. In addition to his thriving independent financial planning practice, he has helped grow such diverse businesses as a photography studio, a commercial real estate venture, and now two software development firms.

He is well known in his hometown of Auburn, Indiana, thanks to his commitment to community service. At present, Gary is a director (and past president) on the Board of the United Way of DeKalb County, IN. He is also past president of the Rotary Club of Auburn, District 6540, for which currently he serves as board member and tennis tournament chair.

Gary has a Bachelors degree in Organizational Leadership from Purdue University. He is an avid reader, a dedicated golfer, and is surprised by how much he enjoys being a grandfather of three: two boys and a girl. His faithful cocker spaniel, Snickerz, is the company mascot, and spends most workdays supervising things from his favorite spot near the window.
